FUTURE- FACING AND
(contact, online and blended)
Founded around our purpose of “education is for everyone”, we develop and deliver both accredited and non-accredited training for the financial services sector, including banking, financial management and insurance.
A Learnership could be an employed (re-skilling); unemployed (skilling) or new entrant (matriculant) in the workplace. FRTC specialises in training “learnerships” by providing work-based learning programmes that lead to an NQF registered qualification.
The main purpose of a SETA is to improve and develop skills within its sector and to ensure national standards are maintained. Learnerships are available for people between the ages of 16-35, who have completed school, college or learning at other training institutions. Unemployed or new entrants can apply for a Learnership to various companies that fund learners to work and study. Once a learnership has been successfully completed, a learner will be in a much better position to market themselves, as the learner will have both work experience and theoretical training. The learner may also be in a better position to start their own company.
Corporate training also known as Corporate Education or more recently Workplace Learning, is a system of activities designed to educate employees. Corporate training is necessary for the company, where training allows employees to acquire new skills, sharpen existing ones, perform better, increase productivity and be better leaders. Since a company is the sum of what employees achieve individually, companies should do everything in their power to ensure that employees perform at their peak. FRTC provides a select programme offering, which can be tailored to each company’s financial service training requirement needs. Let FRTC reskill your existing employees and give your company more of a competitive advantage.
We endeavour to respond to the changing education demands of both public and private sectors in dynamic economies through the delivery of innovative education in the banking, finance and insurance sectors.
All our programmes are designed to be relevant to the economic context of the corporate environment
FRTC has a dedicated team who will provide accessible support to the learner along his or her study journey.
Our programmes aim to build a sustainable competitive advantage, to help an individual further his or her career.
