With a host of challenges and frantic personal and work-life demands, tempers tend to shorten as the year progresses. This often leads to people getting angry which in turns leads to conflict, in both our personal and work-life. Although we all at some point or another feel the urge to throw a stapler at a colleague’s head and run out of the office screaming how incompetent they are, it is unprofessional and career limiting to behave in such a manner.
This course focuses on anger and conflict in the workplace and is aimed at strengthening our people skills when dealing with conflicts or potential conflicts. Conflicts are inevitable, but the more we know about human nature, the better we will be at resolving conflict. The programme looks at understanding conflict and specifically develops and deepens some essential steps in anger management.
